More Info
In a couple years, Orie might just be Mr. Lemon--teacher--to you. This education major was born Sept. 9, 1987 and grew up in Houston, Texas. As a player on the Yates High School team, Orie Lemon was initially a quarterback. During his senior season he passed for 1,214 yards and 14 touchdowns. Meantime, he rushed for 600 yards and 12 touchdowns. The praise soon rolled in and Orie Lemon was soon known as a Class 4A all-state, district MVP and Dallas Morning News Top 100.

As a true freshman with the Oklahoma Cowboys in 2006, Orie Lemon played in 7 games. He recorded three tackles and an interception. That interception made his "famous" because he retured it for 73 yards--the 13th longest return in the team's history.

In 2007, Orie Lemon played 5 games and had 3 tackles. In 2008 he finished second on the team with 90 tackles and he was a starter for all 13 games. Come see this future teacher live! Purchase your Oklahoma Cowboys tickets today!
