Zac Robinson was born Sept. 29, 1986 and grew up in Littleton, Colorado. His parents both attended Oklahoman colleges and today Zac Robinson makes them proud by being recognized as one of the best players on the Oklahoma Cowboys roster.

Zac Robinson went to Chatfield High School where he tallied 1,078 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns plus 39 passes for 850 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior receiver. He was heavily recruited by the likes of Kansas State, Oklahoma, Colorado, Colorado State and Arizona State, and was team MVP and all-conference as both a quarterback and punter.

He redshirted in 2005. In 2006 he passed for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns and rushed for 144 yards. In 2007 he was a starter and had an explosive season. Zac Robinson was listed among the top players in the U.S. in rushing with 65.2 yards per game, passing efficiency with 148.98 and total offense at 282.4 yards per game. Also, his 991 rushing yards ranked second in Oklahoma Cowboys history by a quarterback.

In 2008, Zac Robinson was a starter yet again. He racked up 3,064 passing yards and 562 rushing yards. He had a season long 95 yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Broadway--the longest pass play in Oklahoma Cowboys' history. In the Holiday Bowl, Zac Robinson tied a school record by making 50 pass attempts in that game.
